In Devotion To Resonance

A creativity Invitation!

Intention & Resonance are POWERFUL alchemical tools.

I am a big devotee of creating my own invocations and then bringing the resonance of my voice to the prayer I cultivate. It activates deep memory magic. Some part of me already knows this to be true. Yes. Some part of me is waking up.

I encourage you to do the same, (create your own invocation and bring your voice to it), even if, especially if, it’s edgy.

There’s a treasure waiting there, I promise.

Here’s an exercise to get you started!

Line 1: May I know the presence of (insert an element or facet of nature)

Line 2: _, _ & _. (Insert 3 adjectives or qualities to describe that element)

Line 3: May I trust my (insert what you most want to trust right now in your life)

Line 4: May I follow my ancient (insert adjective or noun) through the dreaming

Line 5: May I open like (describe a process in nature)

Line 6: May I receive the nourishment of (insert element or facet of nature)

and release what no longer serves my (insert adjective or quality)

Line 7: May I laugh with my (insert any vulnerable aspect of your life or being that could use the medicine of laughter!)

Line 8: May I welcome my (insert adjective or quality)

Line 9: May I dissolve that which separates me from remembering my (insert adjective or quality)

Line 10: May I birth myself again and again into (insert adjective or quality)

Here’s mine as an example:

May I know the presence of dusk cloaked mountain peaks

Noble, mystic, deep

May I trust my resonance

May I follow my ancient voice through the dreaming

May I open like a flower for the sun

May I receive the nourishment of honeyed light

May I release what no longer serves my joy

May I laugh with my imperfection

May I welcome my grief

May I dissolve that which separates me from remembering my inherent worth

May I birth myself again and again into Love

Once you’ve given it a go, stir your invocation around with your voice. Place your hands on your heart and your belly. Practice saying it in a whisper. Then a commanding boom. Now something in between. However your bring your voice to it, check in with what feels like your authentic resonance of reverence in that moment. Let it be untidy, raw and true.
